• Format: Blitz 5 minutes

Format

This is an open event for adult and junior players of all ages and abilities. This is a family-friendly tournament with 7 Rounds with an allocated time of 15 minutes on a digital chess clock or 25 minutes when adjudicated. This tournament is QJ Rated.

Prizes/Rating Groups

Medals will be awarded to 1st, 2nd and 3rd in each division,   Best Junior Girl and the President’s Encouragement Award.  The number of prize groups will depend on the number of entries received.

In the hallowed halls of the Royal Chess Arena, where thought and intellect clash like sword upon shield, ye shall do battle with your wits, as knights of the mind, each seeking to claim the coveted title of Grandmaster of the Neural Realm.

Prepare thy wits and sharpen thy intellect, for the Neural Knight Nemesis is not a contest for the faint of heart! The finest of minds shall gather, and only the swiftest and wisest shall emerge victorious. The Tournament shall commence on the first dawn of the coming moon and shall proceed with all the pomp and honor befitting such a grand occasion.
